From September 2020, a new course will be introduced as a post-GCSE option, involving a more technical and work-applicable curriculum: T-Levels.

Major STEM corporations like IBM, Rolls Royce and GlaxoSmithKline are involved in designing the course, and hence this upcoming option is sure to contain exactly what STEM employers are looking for!

"The technical education ladder reaches every bit as high as the academic one" - Justine Greening

The initial subjects are 'Digital', 'Construction' and 'Education and Childcare', with each being worth roughly three A-Levels.

Those going into Year 11 in 2019 will be the first to experience the option of the first few T-Levels - offered by 50 colleges nationwide initially - with more subjects including 'Accounting', 'Agriculature, Environment and Animal Care', 'Business and Administration' and 'Manufacturing and Engineering' being added by 2023!
